Except that in the photo, you are 2nd... and I am 2nd last. Not quite sure that one works Baz. Try another excuse.

Nice pictures Dan! If you're racing it doesn't feel like you're jumping very high, but you managed to make it a great shot! Scott landed sideways a few times, I'm still wondering why he didn't spun of(f) (dunno lol). And that little damage on my front bumper is from the parade lap, where I spun my car I believe

Clio Cup th'images from Infineon.
Si took the lead early on... along with a lot of kerb. (We need a bigger grids guys and gals... photos are looking a wee bit bare)
Paul ran wide nearing the end of the first lap, allowing Baz, Gaz and Alex through, and then Paul had the courtesy to let everyone else through. I wouldn't have. Get your elbows out next time Paul
The battle for positions 4, 5, 6 and 7 was pretty darn close. Line experimentation was key if you wanted to move forward.
Si and Baz were starting to build themselves a slight cushion of advantage over the rest, with Gaz trying hard to bridge the gap.
More mid-field madness.
Gaz caught the front two, and immediately slotted himself into 2nd place...
... which cost him a little ground to Si. One of the things I love about Infineon from a photo point of view is the s curves down the back section. They really lend well to some great group shots.
It's Basher Time. duun duun duun duun dundun dundun. duun duun duun duun dundun dundun. Gaz caught and passed Si into the hairpin. Baz attempted to follow. Baz failed.
Which resulted in a massive loss of momentum for both Si and Baz, and resulted in me just tagging Baz's bumper and ...
which (somehow) sent Baz careering all the way over there!
Here's a video from my point of view. I thought I'd cleared the pair of them... but there was a slight overlap and bye bye Baz.
Link if needed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUMdy0pGqB0
And an aerial shot following Si.
Link if needed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X-FzwtFQps
After aaaaall of which...
... resulted in me being last... buuut, it did mean I could push like a maniac to get fastest lap.
And Si now defending second place from Cobra and Scott.
And Gaz to take what was the first of three wins.
Over and out.

Re: Friday Night Fun (and other stuff too)
A bit of photo catch up from the League of Champions.
I've been experimenting with the angles and orientations again, just to pre-warn you.
Round 1, Race 2. Civic's at Laguna Seca.
GT leading the pack into turn 1.
Gaz chasing down Baz and Si.
I led the way into the corkscrew with Mark close behind.
The G to the az chasing the B to the az.
Luke had a funky almost war themed paint scheme, so I went for a sepia look and a through the fence perspective.
Round 2, Race 2. Colt's at Camino Veijo.
They maybe small, but the Colt is quite an imposing little car, especially when there's this many of them.
Steve becomes a new member of the ever increasing "PNUK members to have hit that wall club." Not to worry Steve, you're in good company.
Go on Baz! You teach that wall a lesson.
Me and Lars go side by side through the first turn. (I love the diversity of sponsorship Lars brings to the championship)
However, that side by side moment allowed Cobra to close in, as well as Gaz, so by the time we hit the hairpin at the bottom, we were all together again.
Sometimes a simple, yet striking livery is best, as Steve demonstrates.
Not everyone enjoys this circuit and the Colt is definitely not my favourite car, but it made for some cracking racing...
... as well as one or two choice moves.
How I got through this without even a scratch was pure luck. It's a good job I did get through, because had I been involved it could well have blocked the track and taken the whole field out.
(Link if embedding feature doesn't work >>>here<<<)
So after that, I was able to wobble round for the win...
... leaving Cobra to fend off Mark, Si and a charging Gaz and Baz.

Re: Friday Night Fun (and other stuff too)
Here are some images from the Audi TT rounds. Enjoy.
Suzuka. Race one. Turn one. Gaz lead the way aaaannd that was pretty much that. He lead the whole way.
Steve's polite and cheerful message to his fellow racers.
After Sergio Perez's performance during the 2012 race, I can't help but feel the hairpin should be re-named "Sergio's." There was clearly only one place I could get a picture of Mark's Sauber rep.
As always Cobra's paint was certainly recognisable.
There's never a good time or place to spin, but there's definitely a bad time and place such as existing the final S curve at the top of the hill and being stationary in the middle of the track. Sorry Steve for taking you out and the other guys that had to take avoiding action.
As I said at the start though, this race was Gaz's to loose, and he certainly didn't loose it.
Moving on to Hockenheim, Lars lead into turn two leaving Cobra to defend very well I might add, with Me, Baz and Mark squabbling for third.
Part way down the straight though it was all change. Cobra was now leading.
Lap 2. Sachs Kurve. There were still four of us jostling and changing positions.
Lap 3, and Si has a great view of the three way battle for second between me, Lars and Gaz.
Lap 4... and this time we did touch resulting in Lars veering off one way and Gaz the other. Sorry. I did let you back through though. Also not the contrast in message we see on the back of Baz's car compared to Steve's.
And that's all I had time for... sorry.

Ricers on Tour in Italy
In honour of what I think is one of the best challenges we've been set, and because I've been hooning round the place for the past week, I've put together a commemorative gallery. I'll be adding to it as I keep trying different cars, but it will be hard to find new angles on such a small circuit.
Full gallery >>> here <<<
Prelude to success.
Deep Purple
Believe it or not, this lap was the quickest lap I did in the Starion. Note to other, less wheels in contact = less friction = faster lap time.
Datsun madness... it's such a lively and lairy ride.
Hitting the bump stops.
Tarmac Terrorist Trueno
Picture postcard
Kerb hopping.
Giving a new definition to skimming stones.
P.s. Who needs FM5 hey?

You wanted Honda's. You get Honda's.
Multiple Honda's at Tsukuba.
2010 Mugen Type R at Fujimi.
2005 NSX-R at Bernise Alps
They wanted refelctions... how about some mountains on the bumper and in the headlights
There's a few more >>> here <<<

Re: Friday Night Fun (and other stuff too)
Some more Honda's for you all.
Kerb Crawler
Getting lairy.
Civic Si (2006 model) with the optional Honda bumper on the front, and I think an ED wing on the back.
Sunset Drive
Wheel of Fortunes
What do get if you tune a V-Tec for 480bhp?
This is my other Civic. It only has 455bhp.
Green Hell in the Black Edition Type-R.

Re: Friday Night Fun (and other stuff too)
No worries Cobra. The first one is cool, I love the angle, but is begging for some motion blur to show the speed. Should have just tweaked the shutter speed slider up a bit.
Third one is good too. It shows speed, and again a good angle.
Fourth on is my favourite though. Can tell you've put some thought into it. Like it.
Nice car too. What spec in an FN2 Civic? Don't know much about them.

Cheers mate, they're not too bad for lying in bed just before crashing out
Agree with you one number one, needed some motion blur. Second one is actually my favourite.
Standard FN2 Civic Type R is a 2.0L NA, topping 200bhp once the VTEC engages. 0-60 is about 6.5 seconds. It's not the quickest hot hatch in the world but the handling is epic, and once its dropped on new springs, given a fast road camber setup and fitted with anti roll bars it's even better!

Before I entered the Zonda in to Lucy's Photo Comp. I contemplated doing the Lancia Stratos under the title Black Beauty. Here are some of the images I created, but didn't enter. Click for slightly bigger versions.
Burnout Time.
Mountain Raider
Catching a glimpse of her majesty galloping through the trees.
"Please engage the e-brake" Check out the flex forced upon the tyre causing by the handbrake induced slide. Eat those physics FM5.
And for my personal favourite...

Thankyou. Close. It's on the Iberian circuit, but you do pass it on the Camino Extreme Circuit, so technically, you are still correct.

Smokey's new "do"
Smokey and the Bandit is cult film that you either love or hate. Burt Reynolds may have the leading role, but we all know that the car is the star. The Pontiac Trans-Am. Well Smokey's had a new do... in Pixel Motorsport Purple.
"That's a big 10-4."
