Grand Theft Auto 5

Just wondered if anyone will be getting GTA 5 and if so what they are looking forward to?

if decide to keep the 360 i mights just be tempted, the trailers do look damn good. unfortunately i only gave the last gta a couple hours game play as i thought it was fairly boring, maybe should`ve given it more of a chance but it just seemed very rinse & repeat game play.

So who's got it then and is it any good?

had about 10hrs on it now, been ok so far. some massive graphical glitches in the early missions! not going to comment on the game play yet as i`m still having things unlock as i play but the game world has some nice thought put into it. playing golf and it started pouring down, actually affected the game. playing tennis and the shadows spanned/moved across the court as the sun set. lots of little things that catch your eye and you think something along the lines "like that even if not very affective" in that they don`t really bring anything to the game but look nice on screen.
still not worked out the pop up events, the ones where someone`s getting robbed and the like. can never catch the criminal and shooting them doesn`t do owt. chased one for so long my health started depleting!
i think once the online stuff gets implemented and actually comes online the game will be much more interesting.

for anyone interested i`ve just had a look at the social club thing and started a crew - >>> PMUK Crew <<<, not too sure how it all works but post up nicknames and i`ll add you in  

the jumps are alot harder than i remember from other gta games

Yeah I sucumed and bought it last night, only played for an hour so far but really like it. Only glitch I've found so far is if you break into a car and the alarm goes off, get out and back in again and it stops  

Forgot to mention, I like the fact that you can tell all the cars are based on real world machines, picked the Audi R8 over the Aston in the opening mission and Franklin's car is a dodge charger and I've also found an Audi A4 and seen some Range Rovers driving around.

its great can't wait for online play, upgraded cars and robbing liquor stores

yeah loads of copied cars in game, mini, prius, mercs, ferraris, vw camper van, zonda seems quickest so far. the way boats and jet skis skip across the waves is pretty realistic. made a bit of money on the stock markets but the bawsaq market doesn`t seem to be active, maybe only when online is activated.
the realtime weather is superb and if it can be done to such good effect on the 360 i really don`t understand why t10 couldn`t get something that`s even a patch on it for fm5! (i know rockstar have had 5 years to perfect it but come on t10)

in a sadistic way was well chuffed when managed to shoot a bird out the sky with a pistol.

the game/map itself is massive! so much to do and places to explore the actual gameplay is a distraction for me

Yeah think I read if you went from one side of the map to the other at 130mph it would still take 7 minutes, absolutly huge map!

well i see nearly everyone in the club has it. my friends list today has virtually been everyone playing it, interesting to see the level/mission people are on and how far they are. even fozzy popped up online!

its good that you can buy stuff on the internet like heli's and planes but the Rhino Tank is awesome.

ill send a club application SI been trying to get a tank onto a train with the cargobob (in free roam) and its difficult lol, the sub is also awesome, can't wait for online free roam and co-op :DDDD

changed the crew from invite only to open so hopefully be easier for people to join. social club is stupidly slow at moment but think it managed to accept you both.
just found out that online will be "online" 2nd/3rd october.

robbed a super 7 on one of the highways between the city and country side, made an easy 2k.

After a couple years managed to fix my Xbox account email stuff, found out i had missed a letter out and when my email 'didn't exist' that's because it didn't lol. So i am able to link it the the crew section website and other Xbox email/link services so i could then accept the crew invite yippie

Just completed the storyline, this game is badass. Im a huge fan of the GTA series and GTA 5 has the same level of awesomeness that GTA San Andreas had back in the day!
