Friday Night Fun (and other stuff too)

I thought last night was brill, and I only won 1 race. I think the main reason being we went from D, to C, to B, to S, to R3 and finally R2 classes in one evening. I saved a couple of races, and after everyone left I made these. Enjoy!

Baz gave Lucy a helpful nudge. Queue mage sideways moment. (Have to say Lucy, the paint on that Cosworth is one of the best I have seen)

when you use flickr do you save the pics onto your desktop then upload them or just upload them from fm.net?

Rather than post a new topic I thought I'd just continue my images in this thread.

Now I have the Porsche Pack, I can actually go through the replays and produce some photos minus a jet black Bora obscuring the view.

Here's some from race one of Wednesday's Sports Car Championship. (Haven't gone through race two yet)

One of those rare occasions when I'm in front of Chris. It didn't last long though.

shame i had to move onto the grass going onto the straight as i was carrying so much more speed, good racing though.

Season5, Round 1, Lap 1, Turn 1. Everyone safely through... with minimal contact.


The first couple of laps made for some real close racing.

After recovering from his roll, he then had to fend off the attention of Mark and Gaz.

Baz's BM is great to photograph. The arches are so aggressive.

The first 4 or 5 laps in race 2 was some of the closest, tightest racing I've experienced.


This is an interesting pit stop. A Dodge Viper being followed by a... Panoz Z4? .... BMW Esperante?

Watching the replay, one of the best shots was a kerb cam coming through Copse. It was just like, vroom... vroom... vroomvroom... vroom. Go have a look at a replay on LucyLou217's storefront.


I knew me and Si had some close racing but I didn't realise we got this close. To be truthful though, we did get even closer at times.

I wasn't laying blame. Merely providing evidence But now you mentioned it Baz, he should have given you more space than he did.

... IT'S RUDDY AWESOME!!

It has it's own opinion on handling, and it kind understeers and oversteers all at the same time, but I now understand why the Porsche's are so strong coming out the corners. You can plant the throttle so early and it just goes.

It's such a hoot to drive.

I wouldn't say convert just yet, but it is an absolute hoot to drive. I wish I was in group 3, since I probably would contemplate it. The lower Porshce's I tested, I didn't like.

Off subject (and very cheeky request), I was wondering if u had time (please don't if u haven't/don't want to) could you take some pics of Sundays racing? I know Si and myself both said last night how we miss it when u aren't racing because the photos you take afterwards are awesome and you seem to have the nack/skill of seeing shots that I know I certainly never can I know it is a cheeky request, but I thought 'if you don't ask you don't get' so i've asked teehee I hope you take this as the compliment I meant it to be and not just think cheeky cow
