Just looked at the confirmed car list and they have Ginetta's and Ginetta Juniors, awesome   

 

Do think the Motorsport bit will need taking out of forza motorsport when this game comes out because we could all get together in a class action and sue them for trades description   

I do like how CARS has focused on proper racing cars in the line up rather than the road car focus from Forza, definitely more motorsport there!

It does look damn impressive though. My only hope though, is that I sincerely hope the physics and gameplay are as good as the visuals because if they're not, it'll just be glorified version of NFS, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but could make or break the game. I think it's safe to say they visited these videos a lot to see how cars react to bumps and kerbs. Racing in Slowmotion video links

F1 driving at Catalunya, the view through the visor is a great idea!

Good vids but am still sceptical about the handling physics, will still buy it regardless for the tracks and the fact it's not forza and will give me something else to complain about other than T10. Old spa looks brill and like the fact eau rouge has no run off area for Baz to cut

know where you`re coming from bout the physics gaz, some vids it looks like it could be good to go but others there`s slight signs of concern. hardest thing is working out what build the vid is. only watched upto 1min of F1 clip and noticed them getting tail happy without spinning   

RE Spa Circuit. Yep. The old circuit was mega. Insanely fast. But for all his driving skills and yoda like knowledge, Jackie Stewart (and other drivers) campaigned to have it changed for safety reasons. The current circuit is probably only 2nd to Monaco in my opinion of current F1 circuits, so they didn't do a bad job.

It is pretty, but terrible to drive. I gave up on it when I tried to drive the Lotus 98T round Donington on it, and found that there was absolutely no warning of when you were going to lose the back. You'd get 100% grip and then half a second later 0%, without it starting to lose grip.
If they are going to bring the driving physics to the level of the graphics, it will be amazing, but I doubt they will at this late stage. IMO if you already own Forza, or particularly GT6, this won't be worth getting on a console, as they are slightly less pretty but much better driving experiences.

It's a bit of a long watch/listen, but sounds like they're finally working on the physics... but perhaps at the cost of graphics. Not sure whether it's YouTube killing the quality though.
