Forza 6 General Discussion

erm....not too sure, doesn`t really seem any different to fp5 which i`m not sure is a good thing or not. either way i`ve just started downloading the game.

not wanting to pass judgement too much just from the demo but i`m not sure about the mod cards, seems more arcadey than motorsport.

Braking is hard. Cannae stop the fecker fae lockin up.

They're proper gimmicky Si , I'm presuming/hoping leaderboard lap times won't record in normal career mode. However much I hated pcars there are some things that should of been implemented into fm6 especiallyc considering the m is motorsport.

Club footed my arse. I feather the throttle and brake with sublime fidelity and steer with the manoeuvre ability of a golden eagle. Check yer rivals times and tip us a wink when you've beat ma time so I can use top gear next time.

As much as I don't like the mod cards you don't have to use them, it's just a way for people to bump up their credits by doing dares, no harm it being added in if you ask me. Agree with Si that it needs more focus on the m bit, introducing qualy and stuff would have done the job for me. But from what I've heard the longer races in single player are back with races up to two hours coming. I'm looking forward to it and the demo certainly didn't put me off and send me running back to PCrap

I think the cars are too small. Whoever measured them had a wonky tape measure.

Managed to swap my hours round so I'm home by 12.45 on Thursday just in time for 1pm release of fm anybody else about?

This game may actually suit you lot seeing as I am the most talented one amongst us. These kiddy on racing games cater for the less talented.

So anyone else understand what antialiasing is because the forums a ripe with people complaining about it....

Have looked for what they complaining about but can't see anything on my screen maybe just my old eyes or old tv.  Has anyone seen the tv trailer yet?  Danger danger high voltage not quite as good a tune as fm2 n.e.r.d.

Yeah that's an awesome trailer, hits back at the PCrap fanboys who are complaining it's not realistic enough, although they could have gone for the full fronted approach of pasting "ITS A COMPUTER GAME YOU F**KING MORON" across the screen!

Geek in me really loves the progression from 8 bit music to current as the games progress, great advert.

These p cars fanboys are taking it way too seriously, yes it lacks a few sim options but as far as I can tell so far it's playable and that's more than p cars ever was for me .

I really hope fm6 is brill cos after all I will be getting it so we can race together again. That said I will still race on project cars because I really enjoy it. The game is so much better now since patch 3.0 came out. Think pcars was primarily designed for the wheel whereas fm6 has been admittedly designed 1st and foremost for controller use. Some games suit some people more than others. I'm looking forward to fm6 just so I can retain my position on the top step of the podium

I had a quick go at the weekend, already prefer it to pcars. Think it's just familiarity though, think my gaming racing is to ingrained with Forza now and pcars was just too maybe techy for me lol Looking forward to what you guys think of the full game. Your posts on here will keep me amused during lulls at JAE. If I don't spend too much I may buy it when I get back

How long does the download take? I have 20mb download speed and started download an hour ago and I'm only at 1%

It takes a fair while Baz just leave your Xbox in always on mode and don't turn it off a tv the plug and should be done by morning.

Leave it on overnight and it'll be fine baz
