General Forza Chat
I have recently come out of my "V8" craze and purchased a Skyline to tune for online racing, so now my garage contains ONE choice non-8 cylinder vehicle, guess I am normal now huh?

Re: General Forza Chat
aaaaahhhhh, public lobbies. They're so funny. I love it when you're racing someone and you can tell they're genuinely raging inside. Doing some C class lobbies, and there's this driver, right, genuinely quick. One of the quickest I've come across, but has absolutely no awareness or regard for car width or length, or the fact that if you're already on the apex, he still wants it. What am I supposed to do? Disappear?!
So inevitably we end up trading paint a few times, and in the end I just got fend up of him. Maple Valley reverse, the long downhill left hander, he/she slides up the inside in his MX-5 and continues to run wide. I, meanwhile, continue to turn left. Bye bye Mr/Ms. Next race. As luck would have it, we start side by side. The first thing he does, turn straight into me. Oh, what a shame, I have a rear engined car. Try again. Turn one. BOOM! Save it. BOOM again. Both in the gravel and they scamper off skipping like a little fairy all happy with themselves. Five or six corners later. Oh what a shame. Mr/Ms Aggresive is sat in the gravel again. Oh boo hoo.

Re: General Forza Chat
I wasn't sure exactly where this belongs, but it's general and forza related so...
There's an FM.net member, who goes by the GT: DJ Lime. He... or may be she, is a talented so and so. They have their own YouTube channel for all things Forza, seem a dab hand at the ol' takin' in game photos, as the name suggest, pretty good with mixing sounds, and now they've come up with these. >>> Link here <<< I don't whether to applaud or be green with envy.

Some bloke of Facebook who goes by the name of Barry Scott wants to be my friend. Shall I accept him or not?

Forza 4 Paint Glitch
Most of you have probably moved onto FM5 by now, but I have discovered something quite... interesting... weird... potentialy unique to my console.
I've been doing some races from the event list and noticed something weird about a paint on an AI vehicle. Thought nothing of it. Turn off. Turn on again. Still the same. Then I noticed a few more times, and now subsequently in almost every race, particularly the R class events.
CHROMED PAINT!
Silver Chrome Bentley
Red Chrome Cadi
It's particularly more noticeable on the brighter coloured cars, since you can actually see it coming through the colour.
Red Chrome Skyline
Red Chrome Aston (complete with flame popping exhaust)
Now I presume it's something to do with how they apply the race-rep paints to the cars. Anyone else seen this on their consoles?

Re: General Forza Chat
I had the same problem but it was on track curbing, turned out to be a knackered disc

Re: General Forza Chat
I get that message about the disc being unreadable about once a month. I just take it out and put it back in. There's not even a mark on the disc though. Someone on FM.net told me the same thing when the track disappeared when I was driving. It was like driving in the sky.

Re: General Forza Chat
Freaky!!!!! is your FM4 installed to your hard drive Dan? If not it maybe worth doing before your disc completely goes kaput.
Re: General Forza Chat
Yep. It is. Ivorbiggun suggested the same thing a few months ago. I already had it installed. So I un-installed it, then re-installed it. Even though it is installed, you still need the disc in the tray to play it. I've tried to play Forza Horizon without the disc (the game is fully installed) and it wouldn't let me.
I'll just keep playing it until it dies.

Re: General Forza Chat
I never thought I be saying this, but...
Have to say, the standard of driving on FM4 over the last few weeks has certainly improved. I'm shocked. I've been doing a few public lobbies just out of boredom and testing a few new cars/builds and some of the people racing must have got racing manners from Santa this year. It's been a very pleasant surprise.
Just thought I'd share it since there's no news like good news, eh?

@ Baz. I'm just saying it's refreshing to be in a public lobby that isn't full of eejits.

Re: General Forza Chat
IVE DONE IT. I'VE FINALLY DONE IT.
It only took nigh on 3 years, but I've completed the event list on FM4... including all the Porsche races. Bucket List achievement, complete.
Just got the Porsche achievements and the kinect achievement... which will never happen since I'll never be plugging one into my 360.
