Battlefield Hardline

played a bout 5hrs of the beta trying all game modes. nothing outstanding yet and you almost forget it`s caps & robbers, all a bit meh.

heist (capture the flag) - too cod like and fast for bf, so far not impressed. map is poo and although it`s just yet another variation of capture the flag i don`t have a scooby doo what the hell is going on.

conquest (or whatever it`s now called) - no where near as good as proper bf conquest. lack of tanks/armored attack vehicles is really noticeable, hopefully be in full game. helicopters are a lot easier to fly but so far not noticed any attack choppers just transporters. map is very colourfull, in fact a bit too colourfull.

hot wired - don`t get it. drive around all game and come top of the points table. only played two games but got bored halfway through the second didn`t bother playing any more.

so far maps seem over saturated in colour, not as big as battlefield maps usually are (only two maps in beta) with one just not up to battlefield standards at all. guns have slightly more recoil but this may be because i`m used to maxed out guns not naked scrub ones. as in bf3 the m16 is overpowered.
it`s not really a beta that`s made me think i have to buy this game, plus it`s still not coded very well which with all the crap that went on in bf4 i`d have thought they`d got this coded spot on (again may be due to being beta).

Well with all the shite with PCars I've just preordered this from amazon so should be turning up on Friday for a weekend on playing!

Still undecided if it's worth a purchase yet enjoyed the beta but don't think I'll enjoy the full game more than I enjoy bf4, but I have still got cod aw to unload so I won't say I'm definitely not getting hardline.

same as you gaz, don`t think it`s gona be any good but what with bf4`s latest patch a massive step backwards and cod just gathering dust i may just be tempted.

I'm just so bored with the xbone at the moment I turn it on cos I feel I have to not cos I want to, so want something new and different. Lets see if Hardline delivers.

any one get it? any thoughts so far?

Yeah got it thru on Friday, not had much chance to play it but definitely more fast paced than bf4 and some of the maps are huge. They've also increased the players on tdm which makes it absolute carnage but still very enjoyable. Hit detection needs a tweak though

Only a bit so far Si but my thoughts so far are tdm is very frustrating 64 players tiny maps and crappy spawning = lifespan of a few seconds tried a few conquest maps but just not as good as bf4, there are a few modes I haven't tried yet. Single player tries to get you sneaky sneaky arresting as you go through and when you get spotted all he'll breaks loose, think it's trying a bit hard either do sneaky like the hitman series or do shooting like cod just odd it trying to do both. Nicely presented though like watching a cop series on the telly does a previous on hardline when you start a level and when you finish a level it does a next time on hard line so that's quite immersive. Overall it's just a bit meh! So far it's bit like bf does cod bf4 is way better multiplayer.

I'm starting to really get into the fast paced action of it now and really enjoying it
