Xbox @ E3 2014.
Xbox dedicated their entire briefing to the announcement of games and game trailers.
Full two hour schpeel can be viewed >>> HERE <<<
Two hours condensed into 5 minutes >>> Link <<<
Things that caught my eye:
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Now I'm not a fan of bang bang shooty games, and CoD in particular, but I know some will be. Cod-head fans will love this. Uber graphics, endles machine gun fire, lots of 'splosions and amputation via shrapnel too.
Forza Horizon 2
Looks like Europe, looks like will have epic visuals and audio, but is that enough to make a great game these days. I doubt it. Could be worth the investment for trivial fun as opposed to hardcore racing. I didn't mind the first one, I hope this one is better.
Assassins Creed Unity
It's set in French Revolution Paris. It should be epic with that as the basis of it's story, but I couldn't help but feel disappointed by what I saw. The graphics are great (the decapitation scene was horrifyingly awesome... in a weird way), but there are a few buts. 1. The way the character moves still seems a little clunky, particularly through the crowds. 2. 4 person multiplayer campaign mode. Really?!? Is it necessary. I enjoy being able to stealthily walk round on my own, why do I have to go around in "band of merry men." Also, after a week or so, a couple of mates will get bored of it and instead of having 4 player co-op you'll have two player co-op with 2 AI's.
Fable Legends
Another disappointment really. Seems to have taken a step away from RPG and gone into action-adventure, which won't please some people, particularly me. Another game featuring 4 player co-op. Whyyyy?!!? I don't want to beat on it so much, since we haven't seen a lot of it, but I hope for better. Those who already have Xbox One can sign-up for the Beta testing for this. That'll be the true way to see if it's any good. >>> Beta Sign Up <<< ahemLUCYahem
Tomb Raider Rise to blahblahblah
Like last years game, amazing graphics, potential for great story, kind of feel they're just letting the brand name sell it, rather than making an actual decent effort.
Scalebound
It's like Avatar as a game. You can biologically link to a dragon and kill stuff.
Sunset Overdrive
Caricature animation, crazy 'splosions and crass comedy. You roam the overtly brightly coloured environment fueled on an energy drink, defying gravity and physics as wall run, grind (up hill?!!?) and make chaos. Could be great fun, still unsure.
Tom Clancy's The Division
The surprise one for me. As I say, I'm not a fan of bang bang shooty games, but this looks good. Apocalyptic New York has never looked better, the gameplay looks smooth, with some great features. The only game I saw where the 4 player co-op actually seems worthwhile. Could be a winner.
There are games I've missed, Halo (never been a fan), Spark and others, but I didn't watch all two hours. I skipped bits.
Feel free to have your say.

Re: Xbox @ E3 2014.
The Division does look good, never been a fan of cartoon graphic based games since xiii so will be giving sunset a miss, call of duty meh!!!! I'm a bf fanboy now . I signed up to the fable beta on Tuesday, tomb raider has never been as good as the first on on PS 1 and HALO unless they bring something new, exciting and unique I'm not interested. And as for FH it's got to be really really really good for be to give any turn 10 any of my hard earned cash. So all in all a pretty average E3 got me but thanks for posting Dan.

At least you read it and replied Gaz. That's enough for me.

Thanks for the heads up Dan. The only game were I'm interested in is FH2, but I think it's going to be to much of a arcade racer.

Would like to have seen more on destiny as I think that has the potential to be a cracking game

Re: Xbox @ E3 2014.
watching the 5minute clip, first couple seconds a guy standing there proudly announces the "whole entire briefing to games"...
I SHOULD FRIGGIN THINK SO PAL AS THE ONES OUT SO FAR ARE SHITE!!!!!!!!
and i`m being polite
not much jumped out at me but i am somewhat disillusioned with gaming at the mo, crackdown (original was good game) maybe but prob only because at the end.

The first one was very arcadey, but in all honesty I thoroughly enjoyed just cruising round open roads, and hooning through city streets and valley roads.

Agreed. It's caught my eye too.

Instantly thought of you when I heard it was open for Beta testing.
And Si. Say it like it is.
