Reserving judgement till I see some more details especially after ghosts, plus I'm now a bf convert now  

So is it worth a purchase Si?

only had bout 2hrs on it so still undecided.

one or two things i`ve come across that i like but still p2p which makes for some dire games. generally i`ve only had maybe 5 games that have been a lag fest due to poor host connection and although i`ve had a few wtf! deaths in straight up gun battles it seems smooth so far.

hoping to get a couple more hours in tonight so will post up more if do.

one thing i will criticise the game on is that like destiny it`s very confusing with no real indication what most of the stuff in game does played about 10mins of the single player which is still crap (follow the man ) so maybe stuff is explained in that

so had few more games, played dom/hardpoint/kc. dom & kc play ok, hardpoint not so good.
the maps are ok, none that stand out as good. some have way too many corridors, alleyways, passages and paired with the furious fast gameplay i`ve found myself taking a couple of seconds to work out just where i am or where i`m going.
not enough guns, again with most next gen games it seems to be half a game in that respect. guessing so you have to buy dlc. submachine guns seem sub par to assault rifles, as always lmg`s are pretty useless in cod and not even looked at snipers.
graphics are ok, again nothing stand out ish about them.
sound - as always with cod is crap, guns sound like airsoft kids toys. explosions have no body/depth to the sound.
exo suits - advanced warfares big selling point is basically a gimmick. none of the exo abilities are a game breaker and the jumping around thing just doesn`t sit right in cod play style. whilst mentioned the jump ability it also seems the maps have been mashed together to try make the most of this new gameplay and it just doesn`t work or for me doesn`t take cod forward.
movement - feels clunky, jumping gimmick gets confusing and generally it just doesn`t feel smooth and precise.
perks - again nothing groundbreaking and so far out of the ones i`ve unlocked it`s been nowt to get excited about.

i really don`t like the exo suit gameplay, it`s more of a hindrance than advancement. basic things like throwing a grenade (most new grenade types are useless) are difficult as the suit fires it and i can`t get to grips with it as opposed to the simple action of cooking a grenade and throwing it

i don`t know to be honest, it`s ok so far. i certainly don`t think it`s a keeper as with every game i`ve played for the one it just doesn`t have any depth (maybe with bf4 being an exception). it`s not as good as either the black ops versions and if a/w is the game to push cod forward well, fail

the single player is utter played two mission on hardest level, died so many times in a minute i couldn`t even hazard a guess as to how many times, in a minute! again there`s so many confusing things in the gameplay it`s just not cod.
both the single player and multiplayer need to be cod, simple fps shooter.

Cheers Si, may just get assassins creed next week if you don't think it's a keeper.  Shame I thought the second lot of releases for the one were going to be worth waiting for but alas it's not to be, fingers crossed for the third lot of releases then 

i think it`s worth a buy but when i compare it to bf4 and how much time i (we) are still putting into that i can`t see a/w going strong for another year.
there`s some nice additions and i really haven`t had enough time on it to pass true judgement but fundamentally the main sales pitch of the exo suit doesn`t quite fit into the cod franchise/gameplay for me.

May get it tomorrow then and if I don't like it trade it in for assassins creed the week after.

Should be on for a bit this morning, initial thoughts connections are very hit and miss they either very very good, or are very very shit. And it's a bit more frantic than what I'm used to with bf, but think once I've learned the maps a bit more it will be more enjoyable .

Been playing the new cod aswell and the only way I enjoy this one is if I play hardcore but like si I do still have a preference towards bf4. Especially as bf4 takes more tactics and thinking were as cod just seems to be about having crazy fast reflexes.
