public hoppers - multiplayer

now most of you will be aware that i think fp5 is a truly terrible game. i`ve only tried multiplayer lobbies couple of times just after it came out and thought this was one of the worst parts of the game. so much so i`ve probably only had about 10 public lobby races and jeeesas what a pile of steaming dog terd!! abc`s which i mainly race is a complete mess and class racing is fairly boring, well apart from all the smash and bang stuff (which is what 90% of the race).
so thought with all this in mind i`d give multiplayer a go as i do kind of want fp5 to be good. stupid stupid, stupid mistake!!!

I'm not entirely sure this is best way to do it. I can't suggest a better one right now, but naming the offenders is kind of giving them the attention they're clearly seeking by bashing.

I have Si that's one of the reasons I joined you guys it was horrendous when fm5 first came out so much so that after a couple of hours I gave up and didn't really start again until a couple of weeks ago.
It has gotten better believe it or not T10 have done something you do at least seem to get matched up with more people your own driver level which helps to some degree but there are still often wreckers in the lobbies.
I also find there are times when it's best not to play multi player especially from around 3.30 in the afternoon up until around 8 pm ( this time seems to be the worse I think due to kids coming home from school ) not saying kids are the total cause of bad lobbies, but they certainly seem to contribute massively to the problem.
I do find now tho if you persevere you can come across some clean lobbies, I also don't think the new vote to kick system helps are no one knows who has been voted for and so most of the time offenders don't get kicked, having said all this I do find that you can get wrecked on the first corner and the driver skills are so bad you can continue racing and still often come first ( and that's coming from me ) lol

reading a thread on the ghost town forum that is fm.net it seems the recent update has "improved" the matchmaking for multiplayer and may be better (not difficult!).

tried hoppers a few more times and still can`t see how i`m going to enjoy them. the latest patch has done nothing to improve them (contrary to what all the fp5 fanboys on fm.net say), the vote to kick system doesn`t work, i`ve had to update my controller so the mic will work in the actual race, not enough tracks, most tracks the bashers can cut so much it`s too easy for them (hello yas [gash] marina), without sounding big headed there`s no competition (matchmaking), and so on and so on   

but....but, i actually had two decent lads in a lobby so one upside is got to race with (bashed around with) them so thank you papergrenade and grimreefer   

there may be light at the end of the tunnel
  

plus and a massive feckin plus the stupid kinect mic system relays so much noise you spend most of your time muting people so as not to get headache!

oh poor forza, such a shame T10 sold out

the two scrotes at the end i muted straight away, guessing by some of the replies it was heated.

until public created lobbies are introduced (never going to happen) then there is no multiplayer   

Spent a bit of time in the C class lobbies yesterday and I hate to say it but I actually enjoyed myself! There were a couple of corner cutters/bashers but they were pretty easily dispatched and then had some good racing with mainly yanks on there.

Me and Si had a few good B class lobbies a few weeks ago maybe we ought to raid a few as a club on a Sunday night when it's not TORA?
