My Forza 5 Design Attempts

Using a lot of originality (not) I have started with my own cars on Forza 5.  The Mini is a very simple replica of my ex Mini (Babzi) although saying simple, took quite a while to get the paint shade right...was nearly as difficult as sourcing it in real life lol.  The Celica is very simple but I wanted to play around with a negative logo so I could get the polished aluminium paint showing through  As mentioned in another post, the design ended up simple because the glitches on this car made anything more complicated frustrating and I think my tiredness at the moment is impacting on my patience

Not convinced of either of the picture qualities...not sure whether it is forumotion throttling quality or what?  I certainly don't remember Photobucket being this bad?  Or maybe its the high size/quality/resolution that FM5 produces that is creating the issues?  Def look better on TV and also viewing my gallery on FM.net

Babzi looks gorgeous Lucy.  I have to say that the graphics on FM5 do seem to have taken quite a jump forward, in terms of these stills; still undecided on the motion shots as of yet though.

Also love the idea of the stenciled/negative vinyl on the Celica.

p.s. the images from FM.net definitely look better than the photobucket ones on my screen.

Nice one Lucy. Like it a lot. Can't believe the quality of the graphics too. They're awesome. It may have come at the sacrifice of other features but they look really impressive.

@ Dan I've got that same thing with orange

There's nothing wrong with orange Lars. One of my fave colours too. In fact, the town I'm from has a long association with orange. The football team plays in Tangerine (which is near as damn-it orange), and when I used to compete at track and field for my town the whole team wore orange.

The pictures on FM.net are in a full HD 1920x1080 so they look good, on forumotion however they are a measly 640x380, and the photo bucket ones are 640x360.
to see the full greatness of the fm.net pictures you have to right click the picture (long press on android) and view the image.

I know, but its in the build Should of took it off for pics Did when i was painting it cus was sick of looking at it and the rear wing No room for vanity though when chasing lap times i suppose

Indeed, it's a cracking looking paint Lou, really good. Then it gets let down by the plank of plastic on the front

After Gaz's recommendation/advice on changing the metal flake option colours had a play



Tried to zoom in to see if the flake would show up on here (The answer is nowhere near as well as in-game) Is a nice option to have, and there is some nice effects to be had by playing with the colour mixes...think my next few designs may use the metal flake as their bases

like the way the base paint comes through as detailing, can`t have been easy working that.
