Customization

as a favour could someone see how the customization differs in forza 5? like if you have more bumpers or different type of upgrades. If possible and image would be sweet.

Think it depends what car you have Steve, started toybaru br86 loads of skirt bumper options just upgraded an M3 and only have forza aero available. Will try and get some pics later just installing ghost atm.

still pretty much the same steve. nothing really to shout about. forza aero still only one choice front/back. new paints for me don`t bring that much more to the painting side but i haven`t really explored trying a good paint sesh. all other upgrades are again some as fm4. you do get some decent "live data" whilst tuning though which is handy but some things have taken a step back like when you swap engines you can`t see what the engine is your putting in until you go to pay for it, no biggie just something that narks me.

well i just watched a video of somone going through the upgrades on a GT-86 (new one) and well im disappointed, same rims, same everything its a let down to say the least :/

But on the plus side i was able to send a party invite to you guys from my 360, i was just wondering if you actually received it at all?

cant say i received it steve but then i`m quite confused by it all at the moment. i could send an invite to dan but dont know if he got it cos he never joined. sorry steve didn`t really look to see if anyone else was on. will try again later as i`m going out for a drinkypoo this afternoon

I never received a notification for a party invite at my end Baz. I doubted that it would be possible. It's just plain old Micro$oft. It wouldn't be hard to make the two consoles connectable via party chat.  

the xbone`s interface is poop! nothings simple to see on it and the 360 had a way better lay out. don`t get notifications with the one either    

didn`t manage to get time to get any decent pics or footage unfortunately, spent couples hours playing around in the paint booth and got no where. tried doing a design replica on an rx7, f5 still has paint glitches and they`re probably worse than fm4 as you can`t overlay detailed vinyls between panels    

although the wheels and bodykits are pretty much the same they are modelled much better. can get white wheels now and also the special paints can be applied to the rims. also because the graphics are so much sharper your vinyls have to be spot on!! it really shows.#

the engine swaps are still fairly disapointing, you get three generic universal choices and if lucky one/two from the manufacturer.

anything specific you can think of just post up and i`ll try check it out  

Another hopefully minor thing once i get used to it, painting seems a teeny bit slower to react...im clicking away at the pace i was on F4 but its not quite keeping up so i have to keep back tracking on myself Pretty sure it'll be fine once i slow myself down and get used to it, but def weird/diff/frustrating tonight doing my first logos n paints

kind of know what you mean lou, i`m no speed painter by any means but whilst doing an exedy logo this aft i quickly got into the flow of creating the lettering and knowing what shapes to use but had to keep checking myself. still took me about an hour and half to do  
think the R Magic RX7 design i`m looking at trying to replicate is gona take 20+ hours.

Oooo nice design looking forward to seeing that Im just playing around with something for a Celica, done a few logos, trd and like, cant quite settle/decide on an overall design though

SMH  the first car I decide to properly paint and it is full of frickin glitches    I am getting rather frustrated...its very hard cus I don't want to diss the game, especially for those who haven't already got it, but really  For some reason to cover the celica sill I have to put a vinyl the RL  equivalent of nearly a foot further up on the side...it is sooooo compromising what im trying to do  ........and don't get me started on where it meets the side of the rear bumper  Sorry guys, rant over...for now
