TCR Mini mayhem

just noticed this new series that`s been set up over at tora, anyone interested in joining me and making a team up as i`m thinking of competing in it?

didn`t notice teams consist of two drivers so looks like could have two teams

2 good races for me. Good close racing and very clean. Happy with 4 th in 1st race

yeah wasn`t too bad, quite a lonely first race to come 2nd. 7th on the reverse grid in second race, had an awesome start and got upto 3rd by first corner. even though the 2nd race shouldn`t have had pitstops the lobby host decided because he didn`t have a clue what the format was that he wanted pitsops (he was told by two or three that it didn`t)
 anyway, after pitting at the earliest chance to jump the slower two in front one of them bloody pitted also meaning i got stuck behind him for 4/5 laps. luckily managed to get past him for another 2nd place finish.

Sounds like good fun a bit gutted i missed it but hey ho shot some french people and chewed the fat with  Lou so not a wasted night.  Who was your lobby host Si?

Epic races tonight. Very happy with a 4th and a 3rd ( including fastest lap )Second race was just awesome. Very surprised with the minis , they're very enjoyable.

Just out of interest. Do they run aero? Since the Mini and other small hatches i built, when you tested them you didn't like 'em at all.

Yes they run aero dan. As I said I'm surprised by how much I am enjoying them although maybe it was just the intense closeness of the racing that makes me enjoy them more. Remember that you qualify with people of the same speed as you in tora so my races were epic. Felt sorry for the guy who downshifted instead of upshifting of the grid in race 2 lol

yeah was decent again last night. qualied pole and basically hot lapped to 14 lap race. race two started 8th on reverse grid, picked three place up off the line and another into the first corner. had a good ding dong with acidic beast for forth, 3/4 laps of weighing each other up i managed to get the better of it and was hot on the tails of first and second. couple laps following them and first place cracked driving straight off at turn 1. left it another lap of pushing the new first place before pulling off a nice move at turn 2 and then ran away with it.
was some clean close racing and unfortunately baz didn`t get fastest lap as it was dirty, leaving me with clean sweep of wins/fastest laps  

was hilarious the start of race two, guy next to me on grid started 5 secs too early by only just jump starting. he stuck it in reverse quickly and got back in position. the eeejit still had it in reverse when the race started and it was slightly off putting seeing this car shoot off backwards at great speed   

Ha. Sounds like great fun. Well done to both. Sounds like you're both representing the club well. Are you in contention for the title Si? You've had a few decent results from what I can remember.  

messed both quallies up, so not been in top lobby. only had one clean qually lap last night  
also can`t see tables on me laptop so will have to wait till can look at them at work.
