Lag, flying cars and general randomness

during the indianapolis races i had some peoples cars literally pinballing around the screen, floating like hovercrafts, juttering along and mysteriously i got well and truly shunted off with no one close to me. speedy mentioned i was lagging so was just wondering what this is all about as i`ve never had it happen before in forza and did anyone else experience it during the races?

Not necessarily your connection mate,could be anyone in the room I think. It's happened to me before and I have good speed on broadband

Wouldn't worry to much about it Si has happened to us all and as Baz said not necessarily your connection only need a slight conflict with another player to get lag.

in the second race when i was managing to keep up with you baz i tried to pit in the 4th/5th lap i think it was, but when entering the pit lane it was like i got hit from behind by a train! yet there wasn`t anything infront or behind. that one got me because we were flying and had built up quite a lead. same race when i was pulling away from wicked in the mid pack the same thing happened at turn 2
funny you should mention about it being with certain players as there was two cars in particular that were bouncing around yet no others.

does forza work on a p2p system or server system? if that`s the right terminology.

if it is my end i don`t want to spoil it for others and would happily just spectate.

saying that it must look hilarious watching someone having same problems as i did and just shooting off track as if some hulk poltergeist smashed me off or braking mid corner trying not to shunt someone off when to others they`re actually 20+ feet ahead
