looks like interlagos could be in gt6

interesting. does gt replicate elevation well? forza is crap for that and interlagos would be brilliant with all it`s undulations.

been there baz, cracking drive from the coast up into the mountains and ronda is an interesting place.

Only problem with GT6 it's got GT5 sound! Really is the one issue that needed sorting, I'll be given GT6 a wide berth

In last weeks’ GT6 info blowout, a radical and exciting new feature was quietly confirmed to be coming in an update for the game and its companion mobile apps:

“This feature, available at a later stage through an update, will allow you to create your own custom tracks that can be driven in the game. Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content.”

This puts the massive area of Gran Turismo 6‘s all-new Course Maker into perspective. In his most recent interview with GTPlanet in September, Kazunori Yamauchi said the likely area would be approximately 20×20 kilometers in size.

401e362fc5d39f1e29c39da6e348137c6335beceU.S. Gran Turismo producer Taku Imasaki confirmed the GPS Course Maker apps would work much like many fitness apps available, which record your run or walk by determining your altitude and relative location as you move. GT6 will then translate this data, turning it into a track you can drive in the game.

Needless to say, the possibilities are nearly infinite, as players will be able to re-create streets they drive to work, their favorite drive, or their favorite stretch of a local highway at a nearly 1-to-1 scale.

That sounds v good

I disagree Lou, in theory yes it's a good idea but in practise how long would it take you to create a fully detailed race track with sand traps, curbs, out buildings, fauna ect ect. And as for the GPS tracking the most exciting thing they would get out of mine would be my commute to work  

If it works then that'd be mint. I must say it does seem a little farfetched, and I agree with Gaz on the part of it will take aaaaaages to upload and create, but at the same time...

... Have some imagination Gaz... either that or where you live has boring roads     I'd love it to have my street turned into a race track.

At the bottom there Baz would sooooo create a hidden shortcut  Im thinking i would love it if u could add your own scenery and buildings etc.  Reckon i could lose myself for hours in Sims style environment design...my spectators would be the best dressed ever Chanel meets the racetrack

It's great having these gimmicks, but they should have put their efforts into improving the sound first, they should have played forza for an idea, that's how the sound should be.

Played it for a good while last night and on first impressions it's mega, but there is a few issue's still can't believe there's no BMW 1M coupe and no Focus RS or RS 500, that aside it's leaps and bounds ahead of GT5 the physics are great really nice feel through the wheel(better than 4) tyre noise is way better than 4 but the engine and exhaust sounds are just awful, 4 had that covered. A lovely touch is the man waving the chequered flag when you finish.
Track selection is just superb, car selection superb( you can't fault 1200 cars) graphics truly amazing, gameplay you never get bored of racing, sounds getting there, a true petrol heads and racer's game!
