Bondurant Challenge

Not sure how many of u guys have taken part in this? Here's a quick copy n paste of the basics off of Forza.net:

"This is the Bondurant Challenge. We are looking for those with top skills in all Forza Motorsport 4 driving disciplines. Formerly known as “Rivals Runner”, the Bondurant Challenge looks to name the top driver in Forza Motorsport 4 across four different Rivals Mode events each month. Each month, winners will receive Bondurant gear as well as the recognition of the Forza Motorsport community.

Want to get involved? Check out the “Community Monthly” channel in Forza Motorsport 4’s Rivals Mode and look for Rivals event descriptions that mention the “Bondurant Challenge.” Your competition will be the best racers, drifters, drag racers, and autocross experts in the game, so if you want be the top driver of the month, you’ll need to bring your A Game.

Here’s how scoring works: The top 5,000 players in each Bondurant Challenge Rivals event leaderboard will earn points (5,000 points for first place, 4,999 points for second place, and so on, down to 1 point for the 5,000th driver on the leaderboard). Each week we collate these results across all four leaderboards, add up the points, and update our monthly Bondurant Challenge leaderboard thread on the FM.net forums. At the end of the month, the player with the most points is declared the winner.

The November Bondurant Challenge events will go live today and be up until Nov. 30. Here’s a quick peek at this month’s events:

Be A Better Driver
To be a better driver you need patience, skill, and persistence. Just as if you were partaking in the Bondurant Method of training, you must find the racing line and memorize it. Once you have put in your best lap, optimizing each turn-in point, clipping every apex, and maximizing each gear, only then will you reach your goal. Then do it again, to ensure that lap wasn’t just a fluke. The Indy GP track is your classroom; now go nail the perfect lap.

Off The Wagon
Whether you call it a station wagon, estate car, or a carryall, the wagon has long been a part of the automotive scene. Now is your chance to see how well these family trucksters can move on the autocross track.

Son of a B Sting
The drag strip at Infineon is the place for this B-Class sports car showdown. Which car will you drive to rise above the competition?

Drivelines and Skylines
When you think of drifting in Forza, you think of Fujimi Kaido, so it makes sense that the inaugural Bondurant Challenge drift event would be here, while driving one of the most iconic families of cars, the Skyline."

From looking at the leaderboards as of today, the names i recognise and our positions are...

Might have a go at this, but can't say i'll do very well

sounds interesting, might give them a go.

as of the last time the LB was updated (15th Nov) ive managed to get up to 216th...having another go today to see if next time its updated i can drag myself into the top 200

put some times in but now to put some time in, using only my tunes

didn`t get time to have a good crack at this.

I entered this, was fine till i got to the drift challenge which i suck at. Instintively i try to correct the oversteer rather than let the car slide

I know what you mean Ret drifting is my weakness too goes against everything I have learnt on Forza.

The new Rivals are up going to give these a bash over the next few days need to beat my 320 from last month.

Well done guys

what little time i got for this challange was spent trying to get a decent tune/time out of the scooby for the autocross part. think the four or five drag runs i did is what really set me back though, should`ve tried for a better time in that.

I was lucky cus i already had a bclass volvo with a good tune in my garage drifting was my awful weakness too

I really wanted to compete there, did it for one hour and totally forgot about it afterwards...
Drifting was fun but I should have hit some better times/more points.
I hope they do something similar again so that I can climb up the rankings

It's up already Gerrit with the new monthly rivals I think.

Definitley the new monthly rivals looked on fm.net does say there could be a delay with them updating the top 1000 drivers as the bloke who pulls the names of the leaderboards in on jury duty.

They have added a new rival for the caddy cts-v coupe at IRL the other night read the rules as I didnt and did it in a A class where it looks like you can upgrade it to high S class DOH!

Lol, i think u saw the 600hp limit and read it as pi...i did that at 1st glance

You are probably right Lou, always read the question twice before answering it I should if learnt this when doing my gcse's

Some of the clubs laptimes are ... not bad

rivals are rubbish

its the drift challenge thats killing me

Me too...i hate drift the autocross is also vvv frustrating, I'm really pleased with my time, but i hit 1 cone on it...I've had about 30 attempts and hit a cone every time...would be close to the 2:20's if i could get a perfect lap

the drift is fine for me, i'm struggling finding a good car for the drag
