Preordered yesterday, hopefully Amazon are nice and it turns up tomorrow..... anyone else getting it?

yeah i`ll be picking it up. couldn`t find any decent deals on pre order so prob just pop in to local supermarket(whichever`s cheapest).
funny thing is i buy it every year, get bored of it after couple of months yet still buy it year after just incase it has improved.

I didn't buy last years for that reason, but thought I need something to give me a break from Forza

strange thing for me is the fact that I am right into football in a big way, go almost every week yet have never played a football computer game in my life

spent couple of hours last night playing both player career and manager career.

player career -

good that there`s more depth/options to this mode in that you don`t just walk into the starting 11. i started with leeds and after sitting on the bench for the first three matches decided to accept a loan offer from bristol rovers. kinda nice addition to the mode.

manager career -

first off got to say, why no virtual pro player manager mode!!!!!. biggest let down for me. i hardly play fifa online so enjoyed having my pro in an offline career mode that i have more control over. massive dissapointment
started off with york and after simming a few matches it seems my players can`t score penalties or the team just can`t win (york have just been promoted though).

general gameplay for me doesn`t differ much to last years. still annoying that low division/skill teams still spray the ball around like barcelona and there seems to be a new ai tactic of the two centre backs stringing together 20milliongazilionbillion passes between each other and my ai forwards just standing to admire this
the oposition ai still try to walk the ball into the net or still will only shoot from 6yards. the new first touch system is an improvement.
this all may sound a bit negative but i`ve only played about 4/5 games actually controlling the player/s so it`s just a quick initial summary. really like the new skill training before each match, nice touch and found myself trying that more than being bothered about starting the match.

plus the transfer system seems to be scripted again, not good!

also in player career mode at both clubs i`ve been at the manager seems to only buy players that my pro is setup for

Si I've been doing the manager career but playing as the team, had it on semi-pro which is usually the level I'm good at and won both my first 2 matches 9-0 which i found rather funny so have upped it to pro level!

What's the ultimate team thing about anyway? Didn't get last years so missed it's introduction.....

Basically cobra ultimate team starts you off with a crap team like league 1 players maybe the odd champ league players play the computer with your squad the better you do the more coins you earn. With coins you buy packs with packs you get players and contract cards yes you have to contract your players and you just keep playing until you get yourself a nice team.

I will be picking this game up some point this week as I love grabbing bargain players of the trading system in ultimate ppl sell quality players that stats aren't that great on for less coins than you earn from playing one game. For example on the 2010 I had dirk kuyt bought him for 500 coins only he scored 178 goals in 118 games his stats were bad but my god he was amazing it was so weird basically what works best on ultimate team is if it is a player they can't get the ball off at all like for example ryan giggs is good for that then you draw there defenders towards that player making space for your strikers etc.

ps from the packs you can get rare player like ronaldo etc if you get them just sell em on the trading system as you can build a whole awesome squad from selling 1 player

well we complain about forza servers, eas` are sham a lam, complete cack!
definitely last fifa i`ll be buying.
