was going to put some pics up but not sure where they`ve been saved to   been on fm.net and the my profile bit doesn`t seem to be working as the redirection address when click on it has something about "test" in the addy   i then just get a message from BT with something about cookies and a test  

so, hopefully later today once i`ve had some shut eye i can figure it out.

cheers gaz, so my forza is just for rewards now. for once a nice layout. getting fed really fed up of all these terrible layouts/interface/menu systems  

I kept getting the couldn't open page when I was clicking it wasn't until I got on my pc and had a proper mooch about. Now get some pics up  

so some quick shots to get used to fm5 photomode and these mainly to show couple of effects/details. photobucket really doesn`t do f5 photo`s justice.

my first completed design, think the wedssport logo needs refining as the black lining is too thin. also the glitch on this car where you move to another paint area of the car and some of the decals disappear from the area you`ve just done is very annoying.




the base paint is one of the new paint options of brushed aluminium. now i haven`t noticed the new paints bring anything to mention to painting options that may be of worthwhile but the detailing is impressive. notice the brush strokes.




again the detailing in the cars is so impressive, lots of little bits to pick up on. one thing that`s a massive improvement is the wheel modeling, with the sharper graphics they look so much better and have much more detailing (plus you can now have white alloys) and this is a centre cap.




some of the environment ai just doesn`t work for me and i think the time spent could be put to better use, it all comes across as somewhat arcadey. this chopper follows a set route at silverstone, without a pilot  




can`t state enough how much the pictures look but photobucket seems to lose the level of sharpness

Great Pictures Si, I have similar WedsSport Celica set as my laptop's background but did you put Volk rims on a WedsSport sponsored car?   Or is it just me mistaking?

yes i did, yes. i. did. mega hard me   

just love the volk rims, really should`ve put a set of wedssport alloys on it. will be done when the sponsor logo get`s perfected  

when you look at the definition/sharpness on fm.net compared to photobucket, well  

Use the new Flickr. It's a truly awful layout but you get 1 Terabyte of storage for free   And the quality is sooooooo much better.  

Oh, and the photos look cool Si. The brushed ally looks great. Also love the fact you've done a heli shot already. Niiiiiiiiice.

flickr is yahoo, had a flickr account but can`t remember my yahoo email.

i was hotlapping on the national circuit and because the chelihopter follows a set route it was flying way off to the left of the track which caught my eye everytime i sped down a particular straight.

Nice pics it looks like the new xbox and forza are graphically a lot better than fm4

again i`ve mainly tried to show the details in these shots. somehow i think our resident dutch ricer may like like the content of these shots.

first off even the wings can have the new "affect" paints. lacquered & polished carbon, with peeling lacquer!



this time the polished carbon paint has been applied to the alloys and wing mirror (not sure why so small, can`t upsize it in flickr)



this time you`ll notice the bonnet, splitter & canards have had the treatment. also this is something that bugs me in f5, the fact i took these shots after a testing sesh where i was the only car on track. so how the hell did the rubber get kicked up onto the front of the car, scripted anyone   again, sorry bout the size.

Nice to see other views of the Celica Si...once again all i saw tonight was the back of it in the distance

Flickr definitely looks better than Photobucket on my screen.

RE: Photo sizes from Flickr. After you've uploaded, click the image you you want. it should fill most of the screen with a black border around it. Right click, and you should have an option of sizes. I tend to go for 800px on the longest side. Then right click the image again, and "Open image in new window/tab" Now you can copy the url and use the "[img]" code to drop the image in. It is slightly time consuming, but the best way I've found.

Anyone else know a quicker and/or easier way? Mark? You seem to be quite technical and knowledgeable on said things.  

I usually post a link directly to the image on the Forza site, so i don't have to download and upload somewhere else.

When you click the pic in your gallery, you should get something like this http://www.forzamotorsport.net/Handlers/GetPhoto.ashx?game=fm4&id=16598970&full=true in the address bar.

i don`t like lairy colours on a mini, has to be period/bland.

Cool car. Cool location. Cool photo. Likey-de-like. From what I have seen of photo mode alone, it's worth buying, regardless of what it has lost in content.

just a bit of testing. was actually trying to get a silhouette shot of a cobra 427 but gave up on that as i couldn`t get a clear enough background free of obstacles spoiling the shot. so, instead came up with these two...

they are amazing Si

The first one is really good, almost like a real life shot... the bottom one is just trippy with those colours.
