pmuk in fm5
where do we see the club in fm5? what would you like from the club in fm5?
now i know we don`t know much about the game until e3 but i`m sure we can all fathom a guess what it`s going to be like. so i`m just interested to see what ideas people could have to push the club forward in fm5.
obviously as more info becomes available this thread can be added to so hopefully we can build up as much info before the game is released which means the club can hit the ground running when fm5 hits the shelves
first thing that comes to mind for me is the ability to record races with the new spec machine, so setting up a youtube channel that has our races on could be good.
fire away people

Re: pmuk in fm5
Perhaps a silly question, but, since it'll be a new game, there will be opportunity for new club name/tag.
The name is fine. I like Pixel Motorsport, I think it's a great name. However, if the opportunity arises, would it be worth picking up the PMUK tag instead of the 'N'? I know this would mean renaming the website and re-doing the banner, so it's swings and round-a-bouts on PR versus the amount of work needed to "re-brand." As Si said though, we are still to learn a lot from E3, so the way the club section of the game works could be entirely different. Just a thought.

Re: pmuk in fm5
Plus the need to rename the web address.
WARNING Boring history lesson about to start.
Pixel Motorsport used to be PMUK and was the club I joined originally the leaders were Rikiteroo Frotter Krazy Gangster they organised the first season we did and had there own forum.
As the 1st season was finishing there was only 4 of us racing which was myself, Cobra, Lou and Baz. As none of us had any moderator privileges on the forum or was able to accept new members in the game we formed a splinter group PNUK so we could accept new members we had tried contacting the original leaders without any success as they has all disappeared.
We used the old forum until it was getting all messy as we couldn't moderate any of the topics and so set this forum up.
Here endeth the brief history of Pixel Motorsport for the full unabridged version if you are having trouble sleeping please contact me direct.
I should hope there is club support in FM5 and its up to members to decide if they wish to carry in within this club or try others out. Also if they wish the current admins to carry on doing the job or is fresh blood needed.

This is all I meant. I already knew the club history, which is why I suggested PMUK returning since I knew the original one had seemingly fizzled out.
I understand about the web address thing, which is why I added in the bit about PR versus amount of work to "re-brand."

I joined when it was paintfarmuk and will say I hope we don't go back to that hehe but pmuk would be awesome to have again. And the idea of a youtube channel sounds cool.
