Not really fussed about everyones testing times this week, lets go to the fun one...... What's everyone getting down the back? 191mph for me

182 max after removing all aero with a spare gear for drafting last night

That's what I get with full aero

I dread to think how much slower my Z4 would be with full aero.

Ok so yesterday I did a couple of testing runs on Le Mans Old (full long straight). I did the standing start on a tune with no aero completed a whole lap topping 191mph on the back straight. Just after I crossed the line at full speed beginning my second lap I paused and switched to full aero tune. As I crossed the first time check I was 7 and a half seconds up on my standing start time. Along the back straight I was topping 172mph. As expected I could brake later and take the corner sections a lot smoother and faster, however I could see the time check times plumetting and by the time I reached the finish line I was a whole second down on my standing start time. That's a loss of 8 and a half seconds! This is going to be an interesting weekend for the better handling cars

only things i can think of for qually are 2 laps of la sarthe, random lobby grid order (could be a bit unfair) or reverse grid of the championship leaderboard. i prefer the latter.

I'll be in... behind you doing 174mph because 190mph is over rated.

Done what I thought was a decent lap of 4:10:001. Took a lot of aero off and could only top out at 172 on the bit with the wiggly bits. Am I miles off the pace or competitive?

Good news and bad news.

The good news is you're about the same pace as me.
The bad news is I'm not that fast either. I'm only doing 171-ish with the wiggly bits. 174 without them. Have done a 4:08, but you can make two seconds quite easily just by nailing your braking points if you add them all up. In the same way you can easily loose time too. ME and you should have a good race Baz.

Do I have a record or something? Am I becoming known as a basher? I know I race hard, but I wouldn't people to be calling me a basher.
