Please remember that any of our members can come up with HLC, tuning events, photo competitions, racing events and mini series. If you have an idea test it out and put it in a thread. Myself, Lou, Baz and Si are always about to help if any is needed.

Had another idea. Thought of it a while ago, but just never got round to posting it. It's based on a real life series known as Super Stars. It's basically saloon car racing, but the engine size must be bigger than 3.8l, no. of cylinders between 6 and 12, and as a road car must seat 4 people.. In terms of converting the series to Forza, I think there should be enough cars to make it an mixed manufacturer series. As for the builds, the real cars seem to be pretty high spec, so I was thinking race tyres, aero, race gearbox, race diff, get them as light as they can be but all as similar as possible. In terms of suspension, I was initially thinking of just using sports springs and ARB's, which of course means they can't be changed. I think this would be the most debatable part, since one car good have a natural advantage over the others, but it would make the series more about the racing rather than the tuning.
Anyway, it's just an idea. Thoughts???

Am liking the car list Dan and I think all the cars or variations of them are on forza. Are the RS5 and Panamera rwd in the series or still 4wd?

I don't know about those two cars yet. Will try and find out.

EDIT: Rummaged round the site a bit more and found more info on the cars in question. From what I can see, the Audi remains 4WD, but the Panamera is RWD. Also found the approx. weights of the cars, so if we wanted to be really accurate we could get them as close to the real life race weights as we can. There's also a 43 page technical document on there if anyone's really interested in the full specs. and rules.

looks like a cracking series with some respectful racing, just watched fair few vids on it.

just realised there`s a button at top right of main page to translate it all

no way at all are they 110db static!! if they are i`d like to see just how many bends are in the systems. 4deg maximum negative camber noticed in one of the first two clips some serious rear camber going on.

oh dear, think there`s something wrong with me that at stupid o`clock in the morning i still enjoyed reading through that document.

Its kinda surprising how much noise is needed to break 100db. They once did a sound of thing for noisiest exhaust at a mini show and i think the winner got about 85db with an exhaust she had made from a piece of scaffold pole was awesome...3into1 manifold n scaffold pole, who needs silencers

Just been looking on Seetickets for tickets for Palace at Wembley and seen that this Superstars Series is running at Donnington on 31st Aug - 1st Sept if anyone is interested. £10 for a Saturday ticket, £20 for a Sunday ticket.
