Online / Offline ?

i know from gt5 that there used to be huge debates as to whether offline tunes worked online and vise versa, i`ve not had much time on forza forums so was wondering what your thoughts are on this?

so far i`ve not noticed much of a difference but one or two cars have made me wonder.

I don't think the cars handle any different and cant imagine a reason why they would.

We've discussed this a few times since starting the DTM's. When we r hotlapping offline its almost like there is more grip than when we get in the lobbies with each other? I know its been discussed on Forza.net by the drifters who have a theory that since the update especially, its almost like the game changes the tyres of all cars to match the worst one of whom ever is in the lobby. Dont know how much truth is in this though?

ive seen this too, normally its to do with what damage you are running, full sim seems to have less grip as opposed to when your doing testdrive or lb times.

thus online lobbies may affect how the car reacts and handles. best to tune using a create race so that you know theres no difference
