Agree won't be rushing to buy another half finished Forza game anytime soon.

New system, they should be giving us new games imo, not rehased old ones that weren't very good in the first place

Looks like its on 360 also so will be a lot of porting from 360 to 1 so not expecting anything revolutionary from it apart from the weather which is revolutionary for Forza, maybe thy finally looked out the window   maybe they will also find out players play online together sometimes and add some thought to that also eeejits.

UPDATE: To clarify, Playground Games is developing solely for the Xbox One version, using Forza Motorsport 5's graphics engine as a baseline. The Xbox 360 version is being handled separately by Sumo Digital, using Forza Horizon 1's graphics engine as a baseline.

don`t know what to say about this really. i don`t want to support the forza series/T10 till they realise the error of their ways which it seems they may have with the return of clubs. will it rival "the crew" as it`ll be pretty much similar category. i just don`t know, maybe some good may come of from it and they`ll be able to perfect/test the weather system so if implemented in fm6 it`ll be good to go.

Some more interesting information, there is a little something inside of me that is getting a bit excited about this game, think it's the bit that says FM5 physics in an open world environment....

+1 think they over hyped fm5 Dan, that's why most of us have been so disappointed with it.

Demo will be available 16th September if anyone is interested.

certainly looks impressive
as for the clio williams = sold ! any game with a french hot hatch has my interest.
never played the first one so will be getting this to see what horizon is all about and having no hang ups hoping to be impressed. it`ll also be nice to see what fp5 could/should have been with the dynamics of horizon 2.

Looks good, but it seems they've put more work into horizon 2 than forza 5. I'd really like to see advanced weather in forza 5. I thinks that horizon 2 will be more of a arcade racer compared to forza 5. I will not buy this right away, if I'm going to buy this game at all.

It will be arcadey. The first one was too. The error most people make is because it has the Forza name in it. If it was just called Horizon, it would be seen as a brilliant game, but it forever gets compared to it's counterpart, Motorsport.

If you go in with the expectation of mega physics then you will be disappointed. If you in expecting awesome aesthetics, but with slightly dodgy physics you will enjoy it (as I did the first version). If the physics have been improved since the first (as we keep hearing), then that can only be a bonus, yes?

Remember, a car doesn't have to be fast to be fun.

i am currently downloading a 10:42 gb demo

right here we go. i shall try to be as honest as I can be.

firstly the graphics are very good as we would expect. secondly the menus are super quick, no hanging about whatsoever, puts fm5 to shame on that score. thirdly the DEMO is not vast by any stretch of the imagination but it is a DEMO after all. fourthly I found the sound to be a vast improvement on fm5 ( when i was racing the jet planes i near shat myself when they flew over me from behind). fifthly (don`t know if thats a word) the handling is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than I expected, it didn`t really feel arcadey to me however, I would say that the cars are more forgiving.

definately worth downloading the DEMO imo. handling very good although i was in a 4wd evo. I will add more after i`ve played it a bit more
