I tink its bwoken
Noticed this last couple of weeks, my Xbox wont read my Forza disc and takes multiple ejects and reloads to get it to work. Talking to a few peeps tonight it appears a relatively common day one edition issue...a few have required replacement Ones so it would seem that i will be calling Microsoft poste haste

Mine has been like it since Feb and with the odd grinding noise Lou, just haven't rung them up yet I will do it before November though.
Re: I tink its bwoken
Kinda just shook my head last nite b4 i screamed. My gaming time is v limited at the moment and between internet and Microsoft its getting even less Turned xbox on yday about half 6 to an update. 6:45 update finished. Put in Forza disc...wont work...multiple restarts/reloads finally works. Now gone 7, and now i have a forza update. Another 5 or so mins finally start playing, then get booted by net out of first race. I think out of a total of 4hrs last night i did 6 practice laps, 5 quali laps and 14 race laps

Why not use the always on feature to control the updates?

I don't use always on cus that adds to reset/cache clearing issues...half the crap with waiting for peeps to get into lobbies etc is caused by those whose xboxes r always on I haven't got an issue with the updates really, just thought it was funny how little actual 'gaming' i managed to do last nite My real issues r net dropping out and disc drive on the blink...they r what i need to get fixed

Used the standard service Gaz...couldn't afford to have £300-400 tied up from my bank account. Think in total it's been away less than 2 weeks I'm sure it was end of last week UPS picked it up. According to the tracking, it arrived Microsoft Germany Wednesday morning and by Wednesday PM UPS had picked it up again

That's good service, will try and pull my finger out and get it done before I go away on Wednesday.
Re: I tink its bwoken
Ps. Make sure they have your address right Gaz, they had mine half correct half Manchester MS are quite good though, one person follows the whole process so fingers crossed he's changed it in time...I also put a big return label on the box so hopefully it arrives back here.

Re: I tink its bwoken
Got plenty of boxes at work I can use, and should have enough packing materials about as well. And I will definitley be having a good holiday
Re: I tink its bwoken
FFS it appears UPS have still tried to deliver my Xbox to the incorrect Manchester address even though I wrote a huge return address label on it and also Microsoft customer service centre updated my address to the correct one Luckily the resident of the correct address wasn't in so I am currently trying to deal with UPS customer unsupport to make sure they don't get home, find a note telling them they have a package to collect and go and collect my Xbox

Still waiting Gaz, UPS assured me last night that my address has now been changed and it will be with me today. They have put a marker on it stating without government approved ID it cant be collected from the depot they had dropped it off at

Re: I tink its bwoken
UPS customer nofrickinsupportwhatsoever have finally passed me on to a UK depot. They are supposed to be getting it back and delivered tomorrow. All they want to do is blame Microsoft...repeatedly...that is till I kindly asked him to shut up this morning and deal with the issue in hand rather than finger pointing. As I politely mentioned this morning, only one company assured me it would be here Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday and then today and that freakin well wasn't Microsoft. It is now being collected today and positively being put on a before midday delivery tomorrow. We will see, if it's not here when I get home from work...
