want to sign up but just know that i`ll have very little time to practice never mind have time to attend the race meetings!

only concern is the car list, for me a little on the large side, although could be good if plenty of testing has been put in to get them all equal.

i don`t have time to test for a competitive car, time to practice or time to race  Sad

otherwise, yay i`m in  Laughing

also i`m guessing the car you choose is used all season? they`ve put something along the lines of once you use your chosen car for qualifying that car is locked in for that race, does this mean you can change from race to race  scratch

doubt it does but wouldn`t be a bad idea although very hard to regulate.

Obviously not entering this since I don't have FM5 but I'm contemplating entering VM's Classic Series on Saturday nights on FM4. Been speaking/playing with one of the VM lads and he's invited me along. Wouldn't mind racing; but not sure if I can be bothered with the hassle of registering for another site full of egos though and at the same time having to suck up to them to get number boards and entries etc.

P.s. I mean TORA as opposed to this site (being full of egos and hassle.)

Yes agree Dan my only reservation about this series is that it's all full of TORA like racers, but the only way to find out is to race in it I suppose.

I've noticed something a bit amiss.  I noticed as I was looking at the bio of (and I know this is a v predictable choice for me) the Toyota Celica SSI that they listed the engine as a 1ZZ-FE (boring 140hp).  My first thought was that they had made a mistake as the Celica in the game is the same as my car, just Jap spec hence the model being SS rather than T-Sport (VVTL-I).  With that being the case, the engine is a 2ZZ-GE (much more fun 190 hp  Twisted Evil )  On then thinking some more about it I thought, no, they are right because the SS-I in the game is the equivalent of the UK VVTi which is a 1ZZ-FE 140hp car.  On then re-thinking about it, I remembered that the Celica in game is listed as 190hp and has all the spec of a SS-II/T-Sport.  Therefore my conclusion is...yet another Turn 10 mistake (4 on this car alone...2 antenna, unpaintable area with stock kit, double layering and incorrect model name) which has contributed to the miss spec on the Virtual bio Rolling Eyes  I am now very aware that I have descended into unseen new low levels of uber geekdom and shall retire to a corner and cry  Embarassed

I've had a msg to say it's on the way back cheers
Thing is Wicked, it was listed the same in Forza 4 that I know of. After googling it to see whether I was right and if anyone else had noticed, it turns out I am and it was posted in previous incarnations of Forza's errors threads and still Turn 10 haven't corrected it. Surely adding an extra 'I' to a cars description cant be that hard when the errors been pointed out years ago on previous Forza's? The antenna glitch and paint/vectoring glitches were also there in at least Forza 4. I'm very confused seeing as Dan G stated something along the lines of 'all the cars have been remodelled for Forza 5' Kinda coinkindencal that on remodelling they made exactly the same mistakes lol I'm more inclined to think someone's full of it Wink

Etcc GT event Baz is a TORA esq event with production cars being bumped up, slightly disappointed with that  Sad

Have given each of the cars from the VM series 4 laps around Road Atlanta to see how close the builds are so far 1:33.033 fastest 1:33.523 slowest so builds look fairly even will give them a proper running over the weekend and will publish the results.

@ Daniel...Yes please  Cool
@ GT...That made me giggle
@ Baz Razz Razz Razz Razz

@Everyone else...have signed up for this...have put my entry as TBC with regards team or privateer. I don't mind either way, so if anyone does want to team up then let me know. If I understand correctly, teams don't have to run the same car within the teams, but they do need similar paints so maybe better privateers?
