Re: Monthly Rivals
I quick car is a good car Si. You cars are quicker than me, so I wouldn't worry.
Think I'm going to have to change the Jag though. Just doesn't have the grip. Think the other two are capable though; just need to get the lap together.

Re: Monthly Rivals
the biggest pleasure for me is getting a non "leaderboard" car so far up, without traction. elitist and up me self, meh
makes it so much more satisfying

Re: Monthly Rivals
I'm not using traction control... or is that another punt at Seb/Red Bull. I agree though. You get to do the Clarkson smug face.

Re: Monthly Rivals
hahaha, clarkson smug face
certainly not a dig at you daniel, noticed a lot lately in fm4/fp5 that lots of the so called top leaderboard drivers are having to use traction control and many can never be find high up in anything but a leaderboard car.
hence why i love getting one over them without those, really is so satisfying.
plus it seems to make me a better tuner/builder/racer doing it this way

Nurburgring Hot Lap - Check, got a solid lap in and found half a second on your time.
Bernese Alps drift - Check, bit scruffy, but it'll do.
Sebring Hot Lap - Work In Progress.

Re: Monthly Rivals

Re: Monthly Rivals
Sebring Hot Lap... I think I'm going to have to concede. I got the Jag to with in 2 tenths, but no more. Determined not to use a Beemer, tried the Ferrari and the Ford. Nope. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em I thought. Got myself a Panoz and only knocked off half a tenth. You're just sooo fast through turns 2, 3 and 4, I can never make it up.
I'll keep trying when I get chance, but I don't think it'll happen. Quality lap and resulting time Si.

Re: Monthly Rivals
naaaahh it's okay. Appreciate the offer, and in grounds of the community I should accept; but I'll keep tinkering and see what I can come up with. Maybe send it when the rivals challenge has finished. That way it doesn't feel like cheating.
