Telemetry

 Telemetry Empty Telemetry

Post  Si_ Fri Jan 03 2014, 13:59

Is it just me or does the telemetry not work?

the tyre temps no matter how stiff/soft i set the spring rate doesn't affect it. no matter how much camber i apply the temps never move from equal spread.

virtually every car i've tuned the temps stick at 230, only managed to get one or two cars around the 210 mark.

generally i tune by feel but it can help sometimes to have telemetry and so just wondering if it`s another T10 bodge it and scarper job or i`m missing something  confused

Haven't really noticed. I did see where you had posted a tune and had mentioned the tire temp.

yeah i noticed this from day one. put it down to maybe the few cars i was tuning early on but as started to tune more it was the same thing. really strange as i had a quick search on fm.net and it doesn`t seem to have been mentioned.

I noticed that also, as my tires stay around 230 on most of my cars also.. i think it is just a bug they need to patch. maybe its because they did so much more research and development with Pirelli (im almost positive it was Pirelli but i could be wrong) and re-doing how the tires interact with the ground, and i read a interview that said the tire/suspension tuning was completely different from forza 4, because of the new gen technology. i would assume that they are leaving it out right now until they get all the details worked out. Kinda how GTA did with online, and heist. that would be my guess on the tire tuning in Forza.
