Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
Had no problem magic, just had no way of racing it if it was the leading lap, but Gaz has got that now, Baz keep it clean and you've got this!

Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
7.04.3, 3 tenths faster than Dan(how close!), but using all the track and then some, can't believe I got away with it!

Thanks Gaz, still believe there's room for improvement, lots of silly mistakes!!!

Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
May have one last go if I get chance today, as I keep making silly mistakes too reckon I could do it at least 2 seconds quicker than my best.
Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
still think 7 mins dead is possible but you'd have to nail every corner, and that's a tall order on this track! think I'll give another day or so , then call it a day, don't think I can get it much faster!

Darn tootin'!! 3 tenths! Hmmmm. I don't know how much I have left. Will have to have another go at some point.

Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
I know I can go faster. There are probably 4 or 5 corners that I struggle with, and it's all the quick ones. They're the ones I'm loosing time on to you Paul. Sooo frustrating. But hey.

7.02.667. Booyah. Had to work soooo hard at the second part of the lap to bring back the time. Seriously need to improve over the first half. Although, having now followed Paul's ghost for a good few days, I don't think it's going to stand. I've seen a two or three areas where you either ran a bit deep or got a bit squirrelly.

Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
Why oh why! Looks like I'm gonna have to beat it, although it will take something special to beat that time Dan, cracking effort, respect, so close to the magical 7 min dead...will give it my all at some point this week. Did you use your own setup, or the garage car?

Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
Down to within half a second, it's nip n tuck all the way round, just gotta be a little braver in the second half!!!
We shall finish it on Sunday 12th August at 19.00.
Baz you must have worked really really hard on that setup it's amazing!!(any chance I can have it)

Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
It was actually the same tune as my 7.04. Just swallowed a brave pill half way round I keep meaning to try your tune Paul, just jump in mine without thinking about it.

Re: Rivals mode Nordscheilfe time attack
Your tune is definitely a good one Paul.
7.01.775
It's a lot more responsive than mine. What I'd call, "on the nose". It makes it a little difficult if it does break away, but the turn in is amazing compared to mine. I also think we use different brake pressures, possibly different diff. settings too, though that could just be the suspension settings that make the difference. Your gearing is different too. On mine I don't hook 6th until about 195-197, with yours it was a bout 188-190.
Oh yours has ugly wheels too. Really don't suit the Zonda.
