Righty oh so lets get back to what this forum is all about.... racing

The Challenge

Car: Peugeot 207 Super 2000
Build: Stock
Track: Maple Valley Full Circuit Reverse
Winner: Fastest Clean Lap
Deadline: Saturday 14th September
Prize: $5,000,000 and a race livery of your choice

I will be using the leaderborad but you may have to provide photographic/video evidence if you already have a fast time on the leaderboard.

Question about the car. Obviously adding parts is aa no-no, but ...

... the 207 S2000 has fully adjustable suspension, gears and a partly adjustable diff. as standard. Are we allowed to tune these parts (as well as tyre pressures), or does it have to remain totally stock?

As there is no way for me to tell if you haven't, tuning IS allowed

Bench mark, my first attempt with no tune is 1:43.805

Thought I'd get my time in early.  Minor tweaks to front suspension and slightly bigger tweak to the gearing.

1.41.847. Replay will be on later.

EDIT: I was going to delete this but it won't let me, so just ignore this time.

I know many of us like to do our own tuning, but for those interested, all I did to my tune was:
Front psi: 28.0
Rear ps: 28.5

Shortened 2nd to 5th gear 6 notches, and shortened 6th gear 11 notches.

Softened front springs 10%

Removed 10% front and rear aero.

Increased the power delivery to the rear. (Can't remember the exact number)

Resulting in a time of 1.40.882.  

From the lobby last night, some official times were:

Greenfly - 1:40.882
ID - 1:41.235

Not sure on GW's time but all others should be on the leaderboard.

some minor tweaks, down to a 1.41.094, time is on the leaderboard
