well after finally getting my will hoy replica m3 just about done i`ve had a few attempts at doing the listerine dragon for the bonnet. to say i`m struggling and it may be out of my very limited painting skill range is a massive understatement! so if anyone fancies having a crack and gifting/send me it that would be hugely appreciated.

it`s also quite hard to find good top down pics of the bonnet from the official will hoy graphic, few of best i could google :-

the first one is from a guy who did it in fm3, although not quite like the official graphic i think it`s a bit better. the 2nd and 3rd are the real deal and as mentioned harder to get a good view of.

anything would be a great help lou, even if just tips of where to start or how to go about trying it. i`ve tried doing it in the create a vinyl bit and used a couple of vertical/horizontal sighter lines to try get the size right but still took me about 2hrs just to do a crappy attempt of the head lol! high res pics of this bonnet are like rocking horse S****!!!

hopefully these will work

If i was doing that si i would get the pic on my computer screen as big as poss. don't worry about wat it does to the quality, u only need the outline. then using tracing paper or greaseproof paper, trace the full outline of the dragon. then, lightly tape the tracing to the tv screen and using 'create a vinyl' start laying blocks to create that shape to the outline (when u done u should have a purple dragon silohette). You can then remove the tracing and referring to your google pics start adding the detail :-) using the tracing method lets u keep the scale of the picture and gives u a good base before u add the detail. once u have the silohette you will be suprised how much easier it is to add the detail lines/shading etc to finish the vinyl off ;-) hope that's a help? If u still struggling i'll try and do it for u as soon as i can :-)
